The Task
Our friends over at Lello’s Artisanal Italian Deli had some beautiful organic tomatoes in stock towards the end of Cape Town’s summer. We took this as an opportunity to collaborate with them on Il Cibo Della Famiglia (Food of the Family in Italian) - a tomato, t-shirt and tote bag pairing.
The Idea
The main typographic element mirrors the natural and distinctive contours of tomatoes. Incorporating shades of green, red, and white subtly pays homage to the Italian flag. Our t-shirts and tote bags are crafted from premium cotton and bull denim, ensuring top-notch quality. To accommodate unforeseen production delays, we opted for separate launches for the t-shirts and tote bags. This fortuitous change allowed us to welcome Marty’s Spiced Tomato Juice as our third collaborator for some delicious bloody rosmarino cocktails.
